Unable to warranty ratchet from my set
I bought a Kobalt tool set with ratchets and sockets. The ratchet broke and I discovered when trying to warranty it in store that it is not an item any store keeps on the shelf therefore I am unable to warranty it without going through the hassle of returning the whole set...
It is absolutely ridiculous that Cobalt would put together a set in which the pieces are not kept on the shelf. If a piece breaks you should just be able to bring it into the store as per their hassle-free warranty and exchange.
Just that single piece, but in this case it is a completely different part number so I'm forced to upgrade my ratchet. This is definitely not hassle-free.
- Cant warranty the ratchet without warranting the whole set even if the set is no longer in production
